DEMAND
FORECASTING
INVENTOR FORECASTER
INVENTOR FORECASTER is responsible for preparing raw transactions data for the computations and demand forecasting. The rich tools deck automatically prepares huge transaction data and draws neat demand forecast for your planners swiftly
AUTOMATIC DATA VERIFICATION
Automatic data verification transactions allow identifying and getting rid of errors in huge volumes of data on transactions and significantly improving forecast accuracy.
LOOKALIKE GOODS
Maintaining a correct directory for lookalike goods drives overstock elimination
INTERDEPENDENT ITEMS
If the absence of a product leads to an increase in sales of another product, they are interdependent. The INVENTOR system calculates and uses substitution rates for any number of goods to forecast demand
ONE-OFF EVENTS FILTERING
The INVENTOR system uses special algorithms to identify one-off transactions, and the warehouse stock is optimized based on organic random demand, which is cleaned of tenders or special orders
TRUE DEMAND RECOVERY
The system automatically restores demand for periods with zero stock levels, making it possible to forecast demand for future periods correctly
SEASONALITY
Seasonal changes, weather events, or pandemics occur at different times, but the effect is known in advance. The system uses machine learning forming a library of behavioral patterns for the correct processing of the effect of "floating" events in the future
WEEKLY CYCLICAL DEMAND
For short lead-time items (up to two days), Inventor Forecaster considers the cyclicality of demand within the week (beginning of the week, end of the week, weekend) and automatically calculates the weekly cycle rates and uses them to forecast demand
NEW ITEMS AND COLLECTIONS
The system implements the ability to inherit demand parameters, taking into account the previously accumulated statistics for similar units. Based on the assigned parameters, the optimal control strategy is automatically calculated for the new item
PROMOTIONS AND SPECIAL EVENTS
The system takes into account the duration and scale of the event, as well as the expected form of demand changes. The system also monitors special event results: it compares the actual effect of the action with a predetermined scale and form of increased demand
